The FFA2010 is proud to announce the confirmation of two exceptional additional speakers.
Alexander Sarris, Director of the Trade and Markets Division, of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Josep Puxeu, Secretary General of the Spanish Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, will join us in debates and interviews on the issue of food security and climate change.
It will be the second time Alexander Sarris is presenting to the Forum for the Future of Agriculture. In addition to his work with the FAO, he is also Professor of Economics at the University of Athens and has previously taught at the University of California in Berkeley.
Having published numerous books and scientific articles, Sarris is considered a leading expert in fields of food policy and agricultural development.
In time with the Spanish Presidency to the EU, Josep Puxeu will contribute with his knowledge and experience on cooperation between agriculture and the environment, interviewed by BBC’s Stephen Sackur.
